Acquisition opens a third depot for secure data destruction company and enhances its coverage across London and the Midlands.East Anglia: On Thursday 31^st August 2023, The Avena Group formally completed the acquisition of Assured Security Shredding Limited based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.“We are excited to announce the acquisition of Assured Security Shredding Limited as another strategic milestone in the growth of The Avena Group,” says Ken Crawshaw, founder and director. “This deal will allow for more efficient operations in the London and South-West UK areas while providing a further operating base to accommodate strong company growth into the future.”Terry Prickett, Managing Director of Assured Security Shredding adds “We will continue to operate with our existing staff but coming from a stronger position as part of a larger national group.”Terry will be playing a key ongoing role in Avena’s London operations for the foreseeable future, backed by their nationwide operations team, and the Buckinghamshire facility will remain intact.
