Our year began with our Annual Strategy Day, where the team gathered to align on Avena’s goals for 2026. This wasn’t just about planning; it was about action. All team members engaged in creative product development sessions and competitive, “Dragons’ Den” style sales pitches. The day established a clear roadmap for our continued commitment to securing the future, ensuring every member of our team is empowered with the expertise needed to drive innovation in the months ahead.
Industry Events
Q1 saw some of the Avena team active across the UK’s primary hubs for logistics and infrastructure. We exhibited at the Rail Infrastructure Networking (RIN) event in London and Sustainable Logistics Live 2026. As the UK’s leading forum for greener logistics, Sustainable Logistics Live provided a vital platform for us to join the conversation surrounding Scope 3 carbon reductions. Additionally, we attended an exclusive HubSpot Connect event at the Andaz London. As two of only 130 attendees, the team gained valuable insights into how emerging technologies are reshaping the market, providing us with practical tools to build even smarter internal processes.

We have recently expanded our operational capabilities, including increasing our fleets, strengthening our ability to deliver the capacity, resilience and reliability our clients expect.
