A Super Simple Process

Avena offer a wide range of secure IT & media destruction solutions. Whether it’s an ongoing scheduled collection, or a one-off visit – speak to the team today.

Delivery Of Collection Units

Secure, lockable IT consoles and bins are installed across your sites to capture all redundant and end-of-life IT hardware.

Scheduled Secure Collections

Our security‑vetted customer service representatives collect your WEEE waste material on a scheduled basis, ensuring consistent brand‑protection and compliance.

Verified Secure Destruction

All collected material is sorted, processed and destroyed using fully secure, traceable methods. Items are rendered completely unuseable, eliminating the risk of misuse or brand impersonation.

Recycled & Repurposed

Waste material is destroyed and recycled right here in the UK, meaning reduced waste, reduced pollution and reduced risk.

What’s the process?

Secure, Vetted Collection:
A DBS‑checked Avena representative collects end‑of‑life IT equipment, data‑bearing devices and assets. Items are sealed in CCTV‑monitored, GPS‑tracked secure vehicles, creating a full audit trail from collection.

Controlled Transport:
Assets are taken directly to Avena’s secure, access‑controlled UK facilities with full chain‑of‑custody oversight.

Certified Data Destruction:
Devices undergo complete data‑destruction methods, including physical destruction, ensuring all data is permanently unrecoverable and GDPR‑compliant.

Recycling & Reporting:
Equipment is recycled via accredited WEEE streams. You receive a Certificate of Data Destruction and an Environmental Impact Statement outlining CO₂ savings and sustainability outcomes.

Security As Standard

Avena is first and foremost a security company. Our priority is protecting your business and brand from the risks associated with data breaches and misuse of branded materials. That’s why our secure‑destruction standards go far beyond those of typical waste providers.

We use 24/7 CCTV monitoring, GPS tracking across our entire fleet, fully vetted personnel and highly secure destruction facilities designed to meet exceptionally high security standards. Every step of the process is controlled, monitored and documented, ensuring complete protection for your organisation.

Sustainability Included.

Sustainability is built into every stage of our secure textile‑destruction process. Instead of sending uniforms and workwear to landfill, all materials are repurposed into new products. This supports circular‑economy goals and reducing environmental impact.

Because our process prioritises carbon‑efficient reuse, we provide an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) after every batch. This report gives you clear, measurable CO₂ savings that can be directly attributed to your ESG and sustainability objectives.
