Overview
As the Senior Sales Team enters its 4th year, we are looking to build on the strong improvements to closing ratio and average order value (AOV) this team has achieved, with a lift in activity, qualified sales appointments booked and proposals sent to ensure revenue targets are met / exceeded.
Therefore, we are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a pipeline of new clients interested in Avena’s services. This will involve working with the Senior Sales and Marketing teams to understand our ideal customer profiles, research and identify targets, tailor the outreach, and qualify the account via a booked sales appointment, which will feed into the existing Senior Sales Executives.
The successful candidate will be a quick learner, and is willing to put in the effort required to keep the outreach about Avena’s services going to companies over 1,000 employees.
Roles & Responsibilities include:
- Contact the prospects, converting into qualified selling opportunities, and then transition them to the appropriate sales executive.
- Timely follow-up with new prospects who have requested information about our services.
- Lead an exploratory call to qualify the leads, collect information, and transition them to the appropriate sales executive.
- Research contacts and buyer roles at target customer profile fit organisations and enrich our HubSpot CRM.
- Use HubSpot as the central source for all tracking for all research, call notes and emails.
- Generate 12+ new, qualified, booked sales meetings per week with 1,000+ staff organisations.
- Deliver market feedback into the sales and marketing team.
Progression Path:
As an important role to qualify & engage prospects while filling the “top of the sales funnel”, we see this role allowing for progression in multiple different avenues, such as into the Internal / Senior Sales Executive Positions, depending on capability of the individual & subject to relevant positions being available.
